Advertising photos for Watts drainage trenches at the Allen, TX stadium, just north of Dallas, Texas. This was two day shoot. These first day they set and leveled the trench drains, on the second day they laid the concrete. This early morning shot into the sun produced a great lens flare.
This dallas advertising photo was a lot of fun. I couldn’t fit between the bars so I had to just hold my camera down there and continually adjust the focus.
Prior to this shoot I knew nothing about pouring concrete, It’s actually a pretty neat process.
My lens actually got splashed by the concrete mix a couple times. This photo shows of likely that was. Luckily I had a UV filter on my dallas advertising photography lens. If you don’t own a UV filter, you need ones. Saved me thousands of dollars here.
