I had the opportunity to take these dallas lifestyle portraits for carolyn. She is a long time friend of mine. Carolyn is a soccer player at UAB, and a spectacular one. She’s wanted to get these photos made for her college graduation announcements.

We started out in a cute North Dallas subdivision. After hours we have permission to photograph at the clubhouse and model homes, and they made for nice lifestyle photography. Not to mention that Carolyn is very pretty. You can see that she’s a natural in front of the camera. We’ve had the chance to work together a few times prior to this as well.

Carolyn brought a variety of different outfits for her lifestyle portrait session. One of which was this pink skirt. I knew of these pink flowers at the location, so we had to match, haha.

The sun started creeping down on us, and with the last bit of daylight we headed over to a Dallas model home overlooking a pond and took some more lifestyle portraits.

My on location lighting was a little limited because I had the studio set up for later in the shoot, but we were able to pull off a pretty good “sunset” photo.

Once twilight hit, we made our way to another Dallas pond. We positioned between two palm trees and fired away on our dallas lifestyle photography shoot. I do have to shout out to Carolyn’s friend who came along with us. She helped substantially with my focusing by providing a focus light on carolyn before we took the photos. Thanks Courtney!

By the time we were jumping, we were being silly, so we added this multiple exposure shot to the shoot. I think this would make a great facebook banner photo.

Once dark, we headed to the studio. We took a variety of photos there, but studio shots all look pretty similar to me. He’s one of my favorites.

I had a great time and am happy with the results.
