Headshots are photographs of individuals in simple poses from the shoulders up. Typically with a very simple background. We can also do green screen!

Lifesytle portraits typically show much more of a person’s personality, hobbies, interterst and individual style. Creative companies look to candid style headshots for a more relaxed look and feel.

If you’re looking for commercial or corporate portraits in Dallas and if you don’t want to look like a deer in headlights or your headshots to look like a DMV photo, you’ve come to the right place! DTX Media offers professional, commercial, consumer, executive and corporate portraiture, headshots, groups as well as lifestyle and candid photography for businesses, actors and actresses. We bring the studio to you and can shoot either in the office setting or with a background. We can even shoot on a green screen (see below). Our staff is friendly and professional. Dallas Commercial Portraits

Portrait vs Headshots

There’s not a very large difference visually between headshots and executive portraits. One is just the head and the other is from about the waist up. However we change our lighting, framing, settings and pose our clients to precision for one or the other. With our incredibly high-resolution photos, we’ll typically shoot the photos more zoomed out, and then crop in. This gives us a safety margin as you can always crop in post-production, but you can’t always zoom out. It also give us the portrait option just in case.

Editorial

Commercial Portraits are often used for editorial purposes for articles, magazines, print ads, websites and more. Above are lifestyle commercial portraits of an aviation mechanic in the dallas area with helicopters flying the background for a magazine cover and spread. DTX media will make you look your best for your editorial portraits.

DTX Media can provides headshot photography services for all types of situations. From individuals, such as actors, to company wide linked in profile images, we”ve got your covered! We can even provide an individual tailored service at an event or conference.

Background Replacement

Are you unsure of the background you want or maybe you need a background that you can’t quite achieve in the office? We can shoot your corporate portraits or headshots with a chroma key green screen background and replace the background with anything you’d like. Interviews

Quite often clients will add-on portraits or headshots to interviews. And why not! We have the person of interest, in a pretty setting with good lighting. When the portraits are taken in the same scene as the interview, there is no additional charge for this service. Just let us know in advance.

Mobile Studio

Headshots should be easy for you and or your employees. We use portable strobe lights with soft boxes or umbrellas and can set up a mobile studio at your Dallas / Fort Worth office or conference room. Choose a backdrop, or we can work with the available scenery. Don’t have a location? We can work with you to arrange a location for your Dallas headshots or corporate portraits. Looks

DTX Media’s Dallas headshot photographers help our subjects relax and look their best. We take a variety of images on-site. Each person can review their photos to ensure they are happy with it. When shooting individual headshots or small groups, we allow time for outfit, hair, makeup and scenery changes. This creates a large variety of looks.

Groups

In addition to headshots and corporate portraits above, we also offer group photography in Dallas, Texas. Whether it’s a specific team, or the entire office, we’re experienced and skilled in the art of finding locations and setting up a group of people for a photograph.

Aerial

Step and Repeat

We offer a one of a kind red-carpet step and repeat photo station for couple and group portraits. We can simply take step and repeat photos at an event, or with our dedicated dallas photo station service, guest can email and text themselves the image on-site.

Lead Photographer:
$1200 — Photographer Day Rate (up to 8 hours on site including set-up)
$700 — Photographer Half Day Rate (up to 4 hours on site including set-up)
$300/h — Photographer Hourly Rate (additional hours or minimum of 2)

Photo Equipment:
Included – Standard Pro Camera (APS-C or full frame 24MP and up)
$200 — Camera Upgrade (Full frame 40+MP Resolution such as a7rIII, a7rIV, R5, Z7II, S1R or greater)

** Set up time is billed, but tear down is not. Billed in 30 minute increments, rounding up.
** Full days and half days will take scheduling and crew member priority over hourly jobs

Photo Editing:
$100/ hour — Advanced Photo Editing Hourly Rate (Photoshop, green screen, HDR, etc)
$50/ hour — Standard Photo Editing Hourly Rate (crop, exposure, white balance, levels)
$50/ hour — Rush Editing Hourly Rate Add-on.
$5/ image — Product Photography Clipping (Replace background w/ white or transparent)
